Lego SpongeBob and His Krusty Pals!

Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Lego came together in 2006 creating yet another classic in Legos toy building sets inventory. Lego SpongeBob SquarePants and his underwater surroundings, as well as, his friends and foes minifigures, make for some great looking and entertaining Lego toy sets!

In these sets you’ll find Lego SquareBob hanging out with his salty friends in the 2006 Lego Sets “The Krusty Krab”, “Build-A-Bob”, and “Adventures in Bikini Bottom”. A few of these early minifigs include Mr. Krabs, Plankton, Squidward, Jellyfish, Patrick Star, and Gary the Snail.

2007 saw the release of two more of the Lego SpongeBob themed sets based on SpongeBob SquarePants TV episodes; “Adventures in Bikini Bottom” with characters Plankton, Robot SpongeBob SquarePants, Robot Customer, Karen the Computer and “Mrs. Puff’s Boating School” featuring Mrs. Puff, Patrick Star, and of course, SpongeBob himself.

Three SpongeBob sets were released in 2008. “The Bikini Bottom Express” with a new minifig, Bus Driver. “Rocket Ride” and “The Emergency Room” (SpongeBob Squarepants has a bandage!) introduced Sandy Cheeks and the Doctor to the minifigures collection.

In 2009 we see some of the SpongeBob mini-figures with new makeovers. In the set “Good Neighbors in Bikini Bottom” SpongeBob himself sports a new face and Squidward Tentacles has a whole new design! In “Krusty Krab Adventures” both Patrick Star and Mr. Krabs have facial makeovers!
